Already on the 2nd month of the year, the calendar continues to fill up with exciting events! I'll share a proper March, April and maybe May breakdown coming up but in the meantime, some near-term highlights:

🇪🇸 Murcia Feb 17-23: for the 2nd year, I'll be heading down to the Spanish coast with friends for a week of riding. Stoked!
🇳🇱 ‘Silk Road Cargo Race’ Screening Feb 24: join us at Workspace Six for a ride & to watch the film with Allan Shaw + Q&A.
🇳🇱 Mechanics of Joy with Garry Pigot Feb 29: our next Echobox radio installment with my surgeon about my own saddle-incurred issues, recovery, and general information useful to all cyclists.
🇳🇱 Pathfinder Giro March 10th: the OG Dutch gravel event now in its 10th year!
🇳🇱 Dox Under The Tracks March 15th: our bi-monthly jazz evening will return!
🇩🇪 Cycling World 15-17: we're attending this year with Old Man Mountain and it's going to be awesome!
🇩🇪 Kolektief March 22-24: this show is always a super nice & cozy one with Rad Race as pinnacle event! Though that seems uncertain...
🇳🇱 12hr Alleycat March 30: our office will be a karaoke checkpoint!

I'm sure I've failed to mention several in the pending 8 weeks. Let me know what I should mention next week. : )

A Day At The Beach Racing Through Sand with Lisa Worner

A uniquely Belgian & Dutch discipline: beach racing is challenging for racers *and* their bikes. Lisa Wörner, an amateur Dutch racer, orthopaedic surgeon and founder of the No Borders Gravel Team, gave a beach a go & wrote about it on the Velocio blog. Nice work, Lisa!
