Despite taking the short 40km route of yesterday's Retro Ronde van Vlanderen, I'm still sore from hauling the tandem through train stations!
I attended the 10th annual Belgian tribute to cycling's glory days on behalf of our client Brooks Nederland (Kruitbosch). It was a blast and my son even said it was the best day of his life. Amazing.
In other amazing news, the team here at Twotone has been busy onboarding new clients & kicking off projects:
- We're proud to be supporting the Wiener Fahrradschau & Berliner Fahrradschau with copy writing & social content generation.
- We've kicked off a new project building media buzz about the inspiring events and initiatives at Cyclespace here in Amsterdam.
- There are some exciting developments happening over at GIlles Berthoud. We'll be sharing more soon!
We do have bandwidth for both sales and pr projects opening up soon. Hit reply to learn more.
As always, thanks for reading!

The Roots of Dirt: How Mountain Bikes Went From Clunkers to Global Phenomenon | WIRED

The Shop Full Of Dreams: Cicli Berlinetta | Cycle EXIF
Tucked away on the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin is a shop called Cicli Berlinetta, and it’s more of a temple to the racing bicycle than a shop. It’s my bud Bregan Koenigseker’s local shop and he dropped in to take some photos for Cycle EXIF.

‘Startups are built through conversations’ An interview with Ash Maurya
"The number one issue I see in my workshops is what I term ‘the entrepreneur’s bias for their solution’. Most entrepreneurs walk into the workshop believing that all they need to do is figure out how to fund then build their solution and everything else will take care of itself."
Ash is in town for a two day workshop next week! Check it out.

Ali Mese of @crewlabs asks: "What are you selling? What do people who buy your product really need?"
Bonus: Ali links to one of my favorite talks ever by @SwissMiss at SXSWi back in 2013.
Selling Up in #SaaS. Not what it’s cracked up to be
"The single most common pitfall I see in 90% of earlier stage product plans is a lethal misconception that aspiring to sell software to the highest levels of the organization, is better."
How to Get Your Team to Be More Creative
"Employees thrive when they know that they have trust from leadership and are in a politics-free environment where ideas can be shared freely and openly." (psst, this works for sales teams too!)
